Intro to Watercolor Landscapes: Christmas Cards Edition Dec 6, 2024

This unique workshop will introduce you to a fascinating world of watercolor landscapes as you create your own one-of-a-kind Christmas cards. Whether you have some experience with watercolor but you want to improve your landscape skills or you have never done watercolor before, this workshop is for you!

We’ll cover the following:

• Basic wash, wet on wet, wet on dry and dry on dry watercolor painting techniques
• Expressive techniques with non-standard tools
• How to approach a landscape in watercolor
• Various techniques for simplifying and portraying trees.

We will be doing several small studies first to practice basic watercolor techniques and once we feel confident, we’ll switch to the actual Christmas cards. This workshop is for artists of all levels and no prior experience with watercolor is required. Each student will receive individual attention to help you progress at your own pace. All supplies are included.
