Mountain Stream

I came across this beautiful little mountain stream while hiking in Banff National Park. Although the day was overcast the beauty and joy of this little stream bubbling and sparkling captured my attention. My favourite part of painting this piece was wrapping the stream around the edges of the painting to give it an essence of spilling out over the canvas.
